META Development, known for boutique, luxury residential projects has acquired the lot at 1870 Brickell Avenue, and is currently under contract with the adjacent parcel at 1880 Brickell Avenue, with a purchase price of $21 Million for both lots. META plans to develop a 5-story, 36-unit condominium building with a projected launch of September 2025. Prices for the residential units are estimated to begin at $2.5 million.
“We chose to develop in Brickell because it is the epicenter of growth, innovation, and luxury living in Miami. Brickell offers an unparalleled blend of modern infrastructure, financial powerhouses, and vibrant culture–making it the ideal location for our boutique residential concept,” explains Andrew Rasken, President of META Development.
With satellite offices in Brazil, META plans to tap their award-winning Brazilian architecture and design teams to further differentiate this project from the competition within the Miami market. Rasken continues, “We want to provide a more global perspective in our approach to luxurious, yet practical living spaces, and ultimately create a product that is decidedly different from the large-scale developments that dominate the area.”
META has selected OSPA Architecture and Urbanism to head up the architecture of the Brickell project. With its headquarters in Brazil and a strong and consistent presence in Miami, OSPA has established itself as a key player in the architecture and urban planning landscape.
Sustainability is also a key component of META’s vision for their development projects. This project will incorporate state-of-the-art energy efficiency systems and smart home technology. Additionally, the design will prioritize the use of locally sourced, eco-friendly materials to promote environmental well-being for both the residents and surrounding community.
The 1870-1880 Brickell Avenue project follows on the heels of the success of the group’s latest project, OPUS, a 14-unit luxury condominium in Coconut Grove. OPUS has a projected completion date of 2026.
